Easter Half-Term Nature Adventures
in
Wadsley & Loxley Common
8+ year olds
Monday 31st March,
Tuesday 1st April,
Wednesday 2nd April &
Thursday 3rd April
9.30am-5pm

*To pay for the days/prices of your choice, click the relevant black button above which will take you to a Stripe payment page, and remove items you don't want by selecting a quantity of "0".

  • 4 days of nature adventures and exploration in the wild and wonderful Wadsley & Loxley Common - with a chance to capture tracks or videos of grey squirrels, hedgehogs, mice, foxes and other animals if we're lucky! 🦔 Sign up to any or all of the days.

Please ensure your child is comfortable with walking in nature for at least 1h (with lots of stops and fun!)

Activities will likely include a wildlife treasure hunt, nature games and challenges, setting up a nature camp, animal & plant observation using ecology equipment, den building, nature crafts and any other spontaneous fun as it arises!

This is a child-only camp: we expect parents and guardians to drop their child off at 9.30, and pick them up at

  • Drop-off and pick-up will be at Wisewood Park. There is a car park attached to Wisewood Sports Centre just next to it.

RIVA cafe is also just there, where you can get a breakfast for under £5 or tea and cake (to note, it closes at 3pm). There are also toilets here.

This is a child-only camp so parents and guardians cannot stay for the activities - we invite you to take some time for yourself while your children are learning and having fun.

    • Please ensure your child(ren) bring(s) a packed lunch. We will provide some light snacks and fruit and usually bring hot chocolate (vegan).

    • Bring a filled water bottle.

    • Wear warm clothes that they don't mind getting messy – the camp takes place outside for the whole day so please make sure your child(ren) are dressed warmly enough.

    • Wear sturdy shoes and socks.

    • Bring a raincoat.

    • Bring a warm hat and gloves if possible.

    • We would suggest that your child doesn't need to bring a phone and we will be asking children who do have phones to leave them in their bags except during the lunch break. This helps the young people truly immerse themselves in the activities and the fun & calm of spending time in nature. If you'd like to contact us, please call Cam directly on my mobile 07774 954 246.

  • We want to make Cam’s Camp financially accessible. So we're offering 2 price options.

    • For those who can afford £40 per child we would be very grateful if you're able to pay this amount as it's what we need to cover the costs of running the camp.

    • However, we'd love for as many young people as possible to have the opportunity to take part, so if this is not affordable to you, you have the option of paying £20 per day per child.
